Born from the post department of the Belgian company Clin d’oeil films, CASTAR is an independent company led by post supervisor Antoine Vermeesch and senior VFX compositor Manon Martin.

Castar is not a standard post production company. Castar is your hub , where you’ll find an experienced team collaborating on your film, searching for high performance technical workflows, supervising VFX, composing VFX and finding creative solutions for projects of any budget.

Our policy is to collaborate as closely as possible with you and setting up the team adapted to your needs, whether with freelancers or by subcontracting other Belgian or foreign post production companies.

Castar’s team is capable of VFX, post production supervision and is also equipped to handle dailies, editing and some DI operations. Castar has a strong relationship with many Belgian creative talents, colorists, VFX artists and post production labs who regularly work closely with our team to ensure each project reaches its full potential.

You can reach us for films, series, documentaries, video clips and especially projects off the beaten track. We have a passion for cinematic storytelling, stunning visuals and always strive for high end products.

the Team

Antoine Vermeesch

Antoine Vermeesch is a senior post production supervisor. He started his career at the commercial company Caviar, working as image editor, VFX artist and DI supervisor. Antoine then set up the post production department of Caviar and worked as a freelancer in leading positions for many other companies. His contribution to CASTAR lies in his strong all-round skills as an editor, compositor, technical advisor and post production supervisor, which allow him to bring a wide variety of audiovisual projects to a satisfying end.

Manon Martin

Manon is an experienced Nuke Compositor. Working in the industry since 2010, Manon set her first steps on feature films and commercial at Caviar Brussels. She then worked as a freelancer for Benuts, Umedia VFX and Walking the dog. CASTAR provides her the opportunity to do what she loves: collaborating closely with the creative teams and create stunning VFX on great films.
